I'm Moving!!!
It's not "official" yet, but we did accept the counter-offer on the house today!!! I'm going to have a dedicated scrapbooking room!!! I'm ecstatic!!! If you can't tell by my over use of !'s !!!! LOL I've got all kinds of ideas running through my head now of how to set it up, but first I need to pick colors for my living and dining rooms.

Life is GOOD:)
Today has been sooo awesome! First of all my husband and I went to the bank and got lots of answers about buying another house, including some unexpected details about how the loan could be handled. I was MORE than happy with those little details which include a 4.9% interest rate!!!
I've also finished my tax return and am getting a nice little chunk of change back:)
I'm off to eat supper with the Inlaws now and have me a little celebration drink, but only 1, so I can stay on track with my diet that's going amazingly well:)
I'm sooo excited I thought I'd share another pic of the house I'm sooo anxiously awaiting news on after making an offer this afternoon!
These beautiful wooden columns and glass doors dividing the living room and formal dining room are what made me want to check out this house so badly!

Digi Challenge!
I finally completed my page for the 'Who Needs Glue Digi Crew.' The challenge was to scraplift an assigned member of the group. I lifted from JHawkeye, it was a REALLY fun challenge! Here's my layout.

BUSY BUSY BUSY
I've been planning to do some challenges lately but it seems like there's always sooo much else to do and I don't have a whole lot of room to be getting all my scrapbook stuff out :(
We're looking very seriously at a house! It has about twice as much living space as we currently do, but I've already got big plans for every room;) One of the BEST parts of the house is a little room in the basement that'll be perfect for scrapbooking!!! It won't be "finished" but the cement walls are painted and there's some extra carpet from the upstairs I can throw down. It is a heck of a step up from using my tiny dining room table that's squeezed into a small area with the computer desk! It's becoming very overwhelming to me to clean the house b/c there just isn't anywhere to put anything!
My husband has been very pessimistic about the house and not near as gung-ho about it as I am. His attitude about it keeps me from getting too excited and honestly leaves me very depressed. A trip to church this morning helped me to remember that it WILL be okay if I don't get it. The miracle of Jesus providing wine at the wedding made me try to remember that Jesus WILL provide if I trust in him and I already have so many things to be thankful for.
I am kinda partial to posts with pics in them, so here's a sneak peak of what may be my new home in the next couple months! It's an old house with BEAUTIFUL woodwork ;)

Brrr.... It's COLD out there!!!
It seems like we've been getting snow CONSTANTLY since Christmas and on top of that there's the wind! We usually NEVER use our front door, I even put the Christmas tree in front of it this year, BIG mistake!!! I can't even count the number of times any more that the back door has drifted shut!
They say this is one of the WORST winters we've ever had, I'm not sure I agree. It may be the MOST snow we've seen, but I think the ice storm 2 years ago was worse. This winter I've made NO extra trips out of the house b/c the roads are too bad, it's too cold, and well I simply couldn't get the door open a couple times. I am NOT a person who stays home for whole days EVER. However 2 years ago we had a bad ice storm, many people lost power for over a week! We were lucky and I think ours was out for 36hrs. Generators were sold out everywhere. We spent a night with the Inlaws b/c they found a generator to borrow. On top of that we had a 6 week old baby. I definitely prefer being stuck inside my own house rather than stuck at someone else's b/c of the lack of heat!
I was making a digital Layout of all the snow the other day and decided to look back at my 2007 pics. The ice makes for such pretty pics! I'm happy just remembering it though, I don't need to experience it again! Here's my winter weather layouts for 2007 & 2009. Couldn't forget the ones of the hubs playing in the snow either:)
